Hillside Coffee & Donut Co Closing Its Doors For Good In El Paso
Hillside Coffee & Donut Co. has announced it is closing its doors for good in East El Paso.
After nearly a decade, the local coffee shop known for its unique square donuts is closing and saying goodbye to its patrons this weekend.
Hillside Coffee & Donut Co. originally opened at Montecillo in 2014, and in 2021 mid pandemic closed and moved to the Eastside, making room for 2Ten Coffee Roasters to take over their spot.
In a post shared on FitFam, Hillside Coffee & Donut Co. shared the following:
After eight special years of doing what we love – brewing the perfect cup of coffee, curating unique pastries with you in mind, building beautiful relationships that traveled with us from Montecillo to the Eastside of EP – it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our doors this Sunday, October 9th. You can enjoy all your Hillside favorites for the rest of the week - so make sure to get your fresh baked dozen & Abuelita lattes while you can!
But now it seems that the popular hot spot is closing and opening a new venture. The post about the coffee shop closing also included another message which indicated that although Hillside Coffee & Donut Co. may be closing, another venture is popping up on the horizon saying:
But with one door closing, new doors open! Stay tuned for a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT – we've got something cooking you're going to love.
By mentioning that they've got 'something cooking,' we can only assume that a new eatery might spawn out of the coffee grounds of Hillside Coffee & Donut Co., but we'll have to wait until they share more details.
Until then, if you are out and about near the Eastside this weekend, visit the crew one last time and get yourself a coffee and square donut before they are gone for good at 2260 N Zaragoza Rd.
Hillside Coffee & Donut Co.'s last day open will be Sunday, October 9, 2022.
