Metallica played El Paso last February and tonight, you can hear the show again if you were there or, for the first time if you weren't.

The KLAQ Backyard Bash starts today at 3 on KLAQ. It's a fantasy music festival you can enjoy from your own backyard. Much like seeing a movie, or watching the WWF, you just need a little imagination to get into the spirit of being at your own personal music fest with live sets from Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Godsmack, Green Day, Bush, Volbeat, Weezer, The Pretty Reckless, Seether, Three Days Grace, and Metallica

Metallica's set will really make you feel it as it is pretty much the entire show they did at the Don Haskins Center in February of 2019. Except for the opening song, it is the show they did for us back then, complete with Rob and Kirk's "heavied up" version of "El Paso". (Check out the video above). Other songs in their set include Seek And Destroy, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Creeping Death, Holier Than Thou and more.

No long lines at the restrooms, no super expensive concessions and the perfect amount of social distancing between you and your best friends. Fire up the grill, crack a beer and join us for a concert that will be legendary. (A legend in our own minds, that is.) The show starts at 3! Don't forget to send us selfies of you enjoying the show via the KLAQ mobile app for a chance to win some awesome prizes.
