Hawthorne Heights, The Ataris and More Coming to Lowbrow Palace for Annual WXSW

The music scene in El Paso is growing more and more, but one of the staples here in El Paso is the music brought to the city for WXSW. 

Splendid Sun Productions, Lowbrow Palace and Monarch Bar are once again bringing El Pasoans the fifth annual WXSW this month, a free concert music series at Lowbrow Palace, 111 E. Robinson Ave. Musicians and bands going to to SXSW in Austin typically stop in El Paso for a night, either coming or going from the event. Lucky for us, these national touring acts are able to play a show here in El Paso, along with support from El Paso's finest acts.

WXSW begins this Thursday with Black Pussy, Be Forest, Rat Fist and No Parents and continues on to March 25th. The show is free and lucky for young music lovers the show is 16 and up. The shows at Monarch will be 21 and over, while the shows at Lowbrow will be 16 and up.

Hawthorne Heights will be performing March 23rd, along with  Courage My Love, Mark Rose, Dayseeker and Shane Henderson. The Ataris will be performing March 18th, along with Yotam Ben Horin, Brian Marquis and The Lusitania. Both shows are free, 16 and up and at The Lowbrow Palace, 111 E. Robinson Ave.
