As we know in Texas, H-E-B always steps up during times and tragedies as they have just done again. According to KSAT-12 in San Antonio, H-E-B is donating $500,000 to help aid the victims of the Uvalde elementary school massacre. Alongside the donation, Uvalde area stores and the H-E-B mobile kitchens will also be providing meals, supplies, and many other resources to the Community support Centers in Uvalde, First Responders, and the local school district.

As of Wednesday, all shoppers at H-E-B, Central Market, Joe V’s Smart Shop, and Mi Tienda can contribute to the fund by making monetary donations in-store at the register for $1, $3, $5, $50, or $100 or at checkout for curbside and home delivery orders.

H-E-B has always stepped up during Texas times of need during tragedies, is also gathering donations for the Spirit of Giving Fund. H-E-B created the Spirit of Giving fund in the wake of Hurricane Harvey and the Sutherland Springs shooting. You can make a donation by clicking here. . All donations collected will benefit the victims and families of Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, H-E-B said in a press release.
