People who know me know that I love me some Tuesday Morning. That’s why I received multiple condolences yesterday when it hit that news that Tuesday Morning was seeking to declare bankruptcy and was planning on closing 130 of their store locations.

Oh, no! First Pier One and now THIS? What’s next…Burlington Coat Factory? Where would I get my fancy Berlutti Scritto loafers for 7 dollars or my foppish, bedazzled “concert-goin” jeans that everyone likes to make fun of??

We’ll there’s great news, bric-a-brac fans! None of the Tuesday Mornings in our town(s) are on the closure list!

That goes not only for El Paso and Las Cruces but for our folks in Abilene and San Angelo as well.

Click here for a list of all the Tuesday Morning stores that ARE scheduled to close. Also, it looks as if Tuesday Morning is declaring bankruptcy in the hopes of re-organizing and keeping their remaining locations afloat.

Just to be clear…

The Las Cruces Tuesday Morning on E. University Ave. is NOT scheduled to close.

The T.M. on South 14th in Abilene, NOT closing.

Tuesday Morning on Knickerbocker Road in San Angelo is NOT on the chopping block

The same goes for both locations in El Paso. Neither the Westside location in West Towne Marketplace nor the Eastside location on Viscount are on the chopping block.

Whew! That’s a relief. Now, all I have to do is find time to get over to those Pier One’s before they all close. There’s a really sweet wicker Papa-san swing chair I’ve had my eye on for years.
