Once again, a fair and balanced look at the ups and the downs, the dark clouds as well as the silver linings, the yin and the yang...the Good News/Bad News of the week.

BAD: The city of Sunland Park NM elected Daniel Salinas as mayor, despite the fact that as a condition from his release from jail he is not allowed to set foot in city hall or communicate with other city employees.

GOOD:  Until he’s cleared, Salinas says he will conduct business from his temporary headquarters: Willy Ganderas illegal narcotics ranch in Socorro

GOOD:  In the interest of public health, the city of Los Angeles has required that from now on actors in porn films will have to wear condoms.

BAD:  They still HAVEN’T passed a law yet require porn makers to stop calling 40-year-old women in pigtails and knee-high socks "barely legal"---

GOOD--This week was the 100th anniversary of the Oreo cookie . . .

BAD. . . That's more than twice the life expectancy of anyone who regularly eats Oreos.

GOOD--The latest cast of "Dancing with the Stars" was revealed and it's a real "who's who" of showbiz names.

BAD--Literally.  I heard it and was like, "Who?  WHO?!?"
