New Chaperone Policy Ensures Safe Thrills At Fright Fest Texas
Fright Fest is officially back at Six Flags Fiesta Texas!
Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas is an annual Halloween-themed event that transforms the park into a spooky, thrilling experience. Fright Fest features haunted houses, scare zones, spooky decorations, and costumed performers who roam the park to frighten guests- and this year, it will also feature a new policy!
Making the announcement over on their Facebook page, Six Flags will now requires all guests 15 years old and younger to be accompanied by a chaperone at least 21 years old.
The policy has been in place since this past weekend and will be enforced by 5 p.m. to park close during Fright Fest nights.
According to Six Flags Fiesta, chaperones will need to present a valid ID at ticket entry and one chaperone will be able to accompany no more than 10 guests 15 years of age or younger per day.
The announcement was met with praise- and some even suggested that Six Flags Fiesta continue this policy outside of Fright Fest; apparently unaccompanied minors have been the cause of many fights and chaos in the past years at Fright Fest!
Fright Fest will run through November 3. The haunted houses feature several themes from horror shows and movies, such as Stranger Things and The Conjuring.
During the day, Fright Fest offers more family-friendly entertainment, but as night falls, the park becomes much scarier, with live shows, nightmarish mazes, and rides in the dark. Popular attractions like roller coasters and thrill rides remain open, often with a Halloween twist.
The event is designed for a wide range of visitors, with both mild frights for younger guests and more intense scares for horror enthusiasts.
