Free Drive Thru Pet Microchips & Vaccines This Sunday In El Paso
On Sunday, El Paso Animal Services and Petco Love foundation are teaming up to offer free parvo/distemper and FVRCP vaccines and microchips to hundreds of pets via a drive-thru pet wellness clinic.
As part of a nationwide campaign, city partners are on their way to vaccinating one million pets by offering free pet vaccinations and microchips this weekend with a free drive-thru clinic for pets of El Paso residents.
The free service clinic aims to make it easier for pet owners to keep their family pets healthy and safe. According to El Paso Animal Services, nearly 3,000 lost pets have entered the Animal Services Center this year alone, many of which are not microchipped, preventing pets from reconnecting with their owner.
Local pet owners will have the opportunity to get their dog or cat microchipped and vaccinated for free when they visit the clinic from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, April 24, at 301 George Perry Blvd.
Listen to Monika middays all week on 93.1 KISS-FM and download our free 93.1 KISS-FM App.
The event is based on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to the first 700 pets. Pets must also remain inside vehicles at all times.
Please note that all dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be placed in a secure carrier while visiting the drive-thru clinic.
