Cinco De Mayo is right around the corner and guess what… It lands on a Friday this year!! Can someone say, NO WORK ON SATURDAY SO LET’S PARTY! (Unless you do work on Saturday, then I apologize in advance.)

If you are looking for something fun to do on Cinco De Mayo that is family friendly then the place for you is at The Fountains at Farah for the Annual Cinco De Mayo Mariachi & Folklorico night.

The event is free of charge and is open to the public. It will feature local musicians and dancers throughout the evening.

Guests will be able to enjoy Mariachi music from local group Mariachi Los Pasajeros as well as other featured musicians.

Families who plan on heading out to the event are encouraged to head out early to grab a spot on the lawn because space is limited.

Guests can bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to lay on the lawn to help them feel comfortable as they enjoy the music all night long.

Last year, The El Paso Borderfolk Festival began a tradition of recognizing those who represent our community through the arts. The tradition will continue this year as four people/groups will be recognized this year at the Cinco de Mayo - Mariachi & Folklorico Night at the Fountains.
