Father’s Day Camping, Stargazing And More At Hueco Tanks

Get Dad out in the desert for some fun this Father's Day.

This Father's Day, take Dad camping at Hueco Tanks State Park. The park is offering a limited number of camp sites so, if you want to go, sign up now! Reservations are required and there is only space for 15 families, 6 peeps per family, max. For reservations, call (915) 849 - 6684.

If camping isn't your Dad's thing, there's plenty of other stuff happening at Hueco Tanks. You can take the "rare plant" tour, go hiking or, check out the stars.  According to El Paso Herald Post on line you can catch:

"an awesome night of stargazing, stories, and planetary viewing.  Visitors are welcome to bring their own binoculars and telescopes, but not required. This event will be on a first come, first serve basis.  So be sure to arrive early to the park!
