After watching the Fallout show, one thing that caught the attention of fans is the possibility of vaults hidden around the United States, including the state of Texas. But the big question is; where exactly WOULD they be hidden if they WERE in Texas? To figure it out, we'd have to go back to one particular scene from the show.

Where are the vaults in Texas according to Fallout's tv show?

If you watched the season 1 finale of Fallout, the people from Vault-Tec mentioned that there were "hundreds" of vaults hidden throughout the United States. The map showed all the vault locations around the United States, which did include a couple in the state of Texas. If you need a reminder on how that scene went, here you go.

Obviously there are blips doesn't show EXACTLY where there would be on the map but some people have even dug some research on which Texas cities would include these vault maps. One person on Reddit made a map of all the locations & mentioned that at least Dallas & El Paso are on the map. Another person, Tunnelsnakefool, did her OWN research & even used Google Earth to determine the locations from the show. She posted her findings in a YouTube video.

As we see, she listed off a few of the bigger cities like Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin & El Paso. However... WE did our OWN research too. We were able to point out some of the smaller cities that MIGHT be on the map too. We were able to find out that other possible Texas cities included Corpus Christi, Beaumont, El Campo, Huntsville & maybe Mineral Wells.

Of course this is not a hundred percent accurate, but we used an expert on Texas geography, aka our engineer Michael Rivera, for a better idea. He mentioned The Bracken Cave in San Antonio is another great choice to hide a vault in Fallout. Bats exist in the Fallout games, Bracken Cave is a HAVEN for bats. Just saying, you can include the mutant bats AND get a nice piece of Texas in the series...

Now long time fans of Fallout already know that Texas DOES exist in the lore of the series; Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Abilene, Lubbock, Carbon, Amarillo, & the region of West Texas are all mentioned within the games. In fact MANY states are included in the entire Fallout universe (New Mexico & Arizona included).

If there Fallout vaults in El Paso, where would they be located?

Going back to the map in the Fallout tv show, there appeared to be blip on or perhaps just outside of El Paso, Texas. Speaking as a native in El Paso, perhaps a vault would be best hidden in White Sands or in the Franklin Mountains? OR maybe even the Portillo Volcanic Field just a drive west of El Paso. No one would ever suspect a vault hidden in the Kilbourne Hole...

In any case, if Bethesda ever wanted to do some filming/scouting in Texas (or El Paso) for a future video game or new season of the show, Texas WOULD be perfect due to our geography!

The deserts, the rural farmlands, the mountains, and the huge bustling cities match the theme/atmosphere of the games perfectly. I'd certainly wouldn't be against El Paso becoming part of the Fallout lore in the future...
