The Morning Show had a great -- and wide-ranging -- talk with former Oklahoma and Cowboys head coach Barry Switzer.

One of only two coaches to win both a Vince Lombardi Trophy and a college national championship (Jimmy Johnson was the other), Switzer didn't shy away from controversial subjects, including his comments on Penn State and Joe Paterno. He also provided some insight on the UTEP-OU game, memories of his time in Dallas, being on Twitter, plus Switzer let the show in on his odd first meeting with Cowboys great Charles Haley.

As for Penn State, well before the Freeh Report alleged that Paterno and others knew about Jerry Sandusky's pedophilia and looked the other way, Switzer said there was no way Paterno and the rest of his staff could NOT know about Sandusky. Switzer took a lot of heat for the comment at the time and, though he was proved right, on the show this morning admitted he was still wrong for saying so...
