This has been a long time coming and we are ecstatic for Andy Williams. For fans of Every Time I Die, it has been well known that the band's guitarist Andy Williams is a huge wrestling fan. Wrestling is a part of his life and his love is well documented on his social media pages and even onstage when he can be seen wearing a variety of wrestler's mercy. The last time Andy Williams was in El Paso, he even attempted to make it out to a local wrestling show before they played a gig at Tricky Falls. Unfortunately due to the distance between the two shows he wasn't able to make it but said he wanted to check it out the next time he came through town. His love went from being a fan to becoming an amateur wrestling, performing at local shows in-between his Every Time I Die touring schedule.

In an old interview with Metal Injection's Squared Circle Pit, Andy explained how he enjoyed the hobby but had no professional aspirations. Looks like times have changed since then after seeing what happened on AEW's Dynamite's special Thanksgiving episode. Williams has been working with fellow Buffalo native Braxton Sutter as the tag team The Butcher and the Blade. The duo made their debut by attacking AEW Vice President Cody Rhodes in the ring. Make sure you watch AEW's Dynamite so you can what else the wrestling company has in store for The Butcher and the Blade. AEW's Dynamite aires Wednesday night on TNT.
