The El Paso Fire Department is accepting applications right now for their summer youth camp. If your child is between 13 - 17 years old they can apply!

The El Paso Fire Department is currently accepting applications for their FREE Summer Youth Camp. If you or your child is 13 - 17 years old, you can attend this camp. There are a limited amount of spaces so hurry and apply.

Only 20 students are allowed into their summer youth camp, and campers are chosen from the submitted applications. Potential campers are vetted for suitability, and preference is given to applicants who haven't attended the camp before. You can find the application on the El paso Fire Department website under "Helpful Links."

The Summer Youth Camp is held at the El Paso Fire Department's Training Academy at 6800 Delta Drive. The Fire Department's Youth Camp will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 12th through the 14th. Participating campers are asked to bring a sack lunch each day, meals will not be provided by the camp counselors.

The deadline to apply for the Summer Youth Camp is this Friday, June 10th. Applications can be submitted at the training academy at 6800 Delta Drive inside Escalate Park. The Training Academy is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Fire Department Summer Youth Camp is an interactive program that is hands on. Campers work in pairs and teams and need to work together. Campers are told to wear comfortable clothing, sunscreen and closed toe shoes.
