A lot of people I know have been commenting on how much angrier everybody seems to be these days. From snarky online comments to just rude in-person behavior, everyone these days seems to have a bee in their bonnet. (Yes, that is an old-timey saying that I picked up from hanging out with Buzz.)  And, it turns out research is proving this to be true, ESPECIALLY for angry drivers.

According to a new study by the Everytown Research & Policy think tank,

" So far in 2021, “an average of 42 people a month” have been “shot and killed or wounded” in road rage-related incidents. For a little perspective, that number is “double the monthly average” of those incidents through the previous four years. That puts 2021 on a healthy, or not so much, track to being the deadliest year on record with a road rage shooting going down about every 18 hours somewhere in the U.S."
