The El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank has been working overtime throughout the pandemic to be sure the hungry are fed.

The El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank has set up a number of emergency food distribution sites throughout the area in the northeast, central and east side parts of El Paso and in Vinton. This Saturday, an additional site will be set up at 9541 Plaza Circle, on the east side, operating from 9am - 5pm.

The first of the two new sites will be located at the Abundant Living Faith Center at 1000 Valley Crest. Distribution hours will be Saturdays, (beginning 6/6/20), from 8am - 11am.  The second, (new), location will be at the El Paso County Coliseum, 4100 Paisano. That site will operate Tuesday - Saturday from 10am 'til 2pm. (With the exception of Saturday, June 13th.)

  • Eastside: 9541 Plaza Circle. Monday through Friday from 9AM-3PM & Saturday from 9AM-5PM.
  • Westside & Vinton: Bill Childress Elementary School, 7700 Cap Carter Road. Mon & Fri from 10AM-2PM
  • Central: Kelly Center for Hunger Relief at 915 N. Florence. Tuesday through Friday from 10AM-2PM & Saturday from 9AM-12PM.
  • Northeast: Katie’s Pantry at 4801 Sun Valley. Monday through Friday from 10AM-2PM.

According to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger website, since the COVID 19 pandemic began in March, they have "given out more than 265,000+ emergency food boxes to over 100,000+ families and individuals at 5 major distribution sites and several mobile sites per week".
