A couple of iconic fast food chains are bringing back some fan faves, dropped from their menus long ago, back to El Paso.

Whataburger recently announced that, to celebrate their 75th anniversary, they would be bringing back several, sorely missed goodies, including the epic, Monterrey Melt and the Chicken Fajita Taco among others.

Now Taco Bell has mouths watering in anticipation of the triumphant return of the one ... the only ... are you ready?  Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco are back.

Taco Bell are being a little coy about this and haven't said exactly when it's going to happen but they have confirmed that it WILL happen. I like this retro thing fast food places are trying and hope it will continue. There are a few other things I miss, fast food and otherwise ...

What Else Should Come Back?

I'd love to have old school, made with beef tallow, French fries from McDonalds again. They went away in 1990. Fortunately, you can still get some similar beef tallow fried fries here. Similar doesn't cut it though, I want the OG.

There are a few other items that have come and gone over the years. The Burger King Cini - Minis were pretty tasty.

Beyond fast food, there are other things I miss. For example, my most favorite chips of all time vanished too in the early 90's.

If I ever find the coullion that decided to stop making Cajun Spice Ruffles, I'm kicking him right in his Cre(h)ole. OMG, they were amazing. I'm not the only one that feels this way either, there's at least 64 more of us out there.
