7/11 has announced the return of their popular "Bring Your Own Cup Day"! And if you're in El Paso wondering "where the heck can I get one since there's no 7/11's?" well I've got some great news for you.

Slurpee lovers in El Paso, mark your calendars, this weekend, April 13, you can “BYOC” to fill your most creative container with a Slurpee for just $1.99!

That means that you can take almost anything like pitchers, fish bowls, the container you use to carry out Menudo on Sundays -- as long as it meets a few requirements you can get your giant-sized brain freeze on in almost anything. Requirements are, according to this press release:

In order to properly enjoy BYOC Day, please ensure the cup is clean, watertight, leak-proof and fits upright within the 10-inch hole in the in-store display, indicating it can fit under the Slurpee drink dispenser.

But, where is there a 7/11 in El Paso?

It turns out they were acquired by Delek US Holdings in 2017 and have been in the process of being rebranded as DK convenience stores since 2019. And it’s not just the El Paso-area stores. All of the former 7-Eleven stores in Central and West Texas and New Mexico are now DK.

While DK's may not have Slurpee dispensers, not to fear! Speedway's will now be your new location to acquire the frozen treat!

Luckily, El Paso has many Speedway's to choose from!

So grab those buckets, because for one day only on April 13, you can bring your own improvised Slurpee cup and fill it up with your favorite Slurpee flavor for $1.99 at any participating Speedway location.
