Thanks to COVID-19, many people have found themselves working remotely. Most remote workers are doing so from home and apparently El Paso is THE place to do so.

El Paso is a great place to live and we have been acknowledged as such a number of times. We've been named one of America's safest cities and one of the best cities in the United States of America to: raise a family in, move to, retire in, celebrate Halloween in, etc. You get the picture and now it seems we have earned another honor; "best city in which to work from home."

It's not because we have really nice houses or anything like that, according to Advisorsmith.com, it's our great internet access ... they clearly didn't try working with the internet at my house by the way ... along with several other factors. According to the El Paso Times:

... the study looked at 2,493 U.S. cities and considered five criteria: availability of high-speed internet, housing prices, crime levels, as well as weather conditions and the amount of park space since people consider it safe to go outside during the coronavirus pandemic. - El Paso Times

Not everyone, of course, has the option to work from home. Firemen, cops, truckers, surgeons, etc. I myself have been working from home about 75% of the time lately and, I love it. Obviously, I have to spend some time in the studio but, finding ways to do everything else remotely has been fairly easy and the equipment needed has worked smoothly. I will absolutely keep working this way if I can.
