Can’t Make It To a Weekend Morning Farmers Market? Support Local at a Night Market
Haven’t been able to catch a daytime Saturday or Sunday market?
A couple of night markets are happening this week, so if you have to work, have chores to do, or errands to run on a Saturday or Sunday mid-afternoon you don’t have to miss out on locally made arts and crafts.
Thursday: Downtown Evening Market
The city sponsored Downtown Art and Farmers Market, which holds a weekly market Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Union Plaza District along Anthony Street, is hosting an evening market under the string of lights at the Arts Festival Plaza.
Local vendors will be selling art, apparel, baked goods and more on Thursday, March 31, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. between the El Paso Museum of Art and the Plaza Theatre.
And, bonus, if you want to get the weekend party started a day early, you’re just a short walk away from the Downtown nightlife and the restaurants and bars it offers.
If you suddenly feel like breaking out in song, or need a ride to another part of downtown, the streetcar will be hosting “Cruising Karaoke” beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Friday, Saturday: Night Market
Country Club Farmers Market expands its market offerings with the weekly Night Market on Friday and Saturday evenings in the same location it holds its Saturday morning market.
Just know that it’s not a farmer’s market. It’s still about local vendors and pet and family-friendly, but it’s smaller and more about eating and shopping.
