A new study has come out and El Paso is named the top city in the state, but not for a good reason.

According to MSN and 24/7 Wall Street, they have named the drunkest cities in each state.

They figured out the "winners" of the title by the percentage of adults in the city that report heavy or binge drinking, the percentage of state adults that report binge or heavy drinking and sadly the number of alcohol related deaths in the city.

In Texas, only 16% of adults report heavy or binge drinking in the Lone Star state which makes the number in the city of El Paso even more shocking.

In El Paso, more than half of the adults, 56% to be exact, say that they drink excessively on a regular basis. That makes us the city with the highest drinking city in the country. The second place city is pretty far behind, with Dubuque, Iowa having 30.8% of adults reporting binge drinking.
