If you're a photographer here in the Borderland, the museum may feature your work in a new exhibit.

The El Paso Museum of History is planning a new exhibit called Pasos Urbanas which will feature photography by local photographers. Selected photos will be featured in the new exhibit but, all photos entered will be used in one way or another. Museum Director Vladimir von Tsurikov said:

“We also want to digitize all of these submissions and make them available to the public through the digital wall at the museum of history so that actually every single submission will be preserved in one form or another” - KTSM

The idea is to capture the dynamic changes taking place in El Paso and Juarez and to preserve todays images for future generations to see, remember and compare. Shutterbugs can submit up to 5 pics each and have until Tuesday, October 1st, to enter their shots.
