Attention all El Pasoans with a sweet tooth, there's a new donut shop in town that you'll  want to make sure and set some time to visit because there are some big flavors waiting for you!

After an announcement last year that the specialty donut chain will be opening in the Sun City, Hurts Donut has officially opened its very first location on the Eastside of El Paso at 1404 Lee Trevino Dr, Ste 101.

The Midwest-based chain has grown in popularity since its 2013 debut due to their huge selection of uniquely-flavored donuts and now, El Pasoans will get to join in on the fun.

Hurts Donut is a specialty donut chain known for its oversized, creative, and often outrageous donut flavors and designs. The company was founded in 2013 in Springfield, Missouri, and has since expanded to multiple locations across the U.S. They offer dozens of unique and colorful donut flavors, including cereal-topped, candy-coated, and even bacon-covered donuts.

The shop claims they are open "25 hours a day, 8 days a week"- their website confirms that some locations are open 24 hours a day, but I couldn't confirm that the El Paso location is one of those. Hurts Donut has been doing a great job of updating El Pasoans, even offering some freebies before their grand opening, and showcasing the unique flavors they offer!

Looks like there's something in there for everyone!

Hurts Donut also looks like it's definitely embracing El Paso, and even giving us a Borderland favorite: conchas!
