I have a novel idea. Follow me here for a minute. We don't need an actual lockdown. We just need to get everyone on the same page. What happens when everyone is on the same page? We have a better idea of what it will take to beat this virus. Unfortunately, far too many people have their own opinions and are willing to do whatever is best for them.

Sun City Athletic Club in El Paso's Upper Valley has continued to stay open because they're customers basically begged them to stay open. Are they at fault for staying open? Yes and no. This is what makes this situation difficult. Businesses need customers to stay open. That's not an Earth shattering revelation. But as families around the city, county, state, and country struggle, we apparently have people who can not only pay for a gym membership, but also help pay for that gym's fines. If you have that kind of money, I have an idea for you. Workout from home for a few weeks, and instead of spending that extra money on your gym's fines, you donate it to a charity that is helping people in need. How about heading on over to El Pasoan's Fighting Hunger Food Bank and making a donation? CLICK HERE TO MAKE A DONATION.

Again, we don't need to be ordered to shut down. But we do need to get on the same page. First and foremost, wear a mask, wash your hands, and keep your distance. And if you are lucky enough to have kept your job through this, or been able to keep the doors of your business open, realize that there are others out there that aren't so lucky. Now is the time we need to come together to help each other out.
