El Paso Animal Shelter Offering Super Cheap Pet Adoptions

El Paso's animal shelter is almost full so, now through Monday, they're offering reduced rate pet adoptions!

The El Paso Animal Shelter is almost full which means you could get a new furry friend for only $5.00. Still too much? Ok, how about FREE?  According to the El Paso Herald-Post, the adoption fee is waived if you donate any of these items:

• Dog and cat toys
• Towels and blankets (new or used)
• Dog and puppy food
• Cat and kitten food
• Wire kennels
• Plastic carriers

In order to reduce the shelter population, Animal Services will reduce adoption fees whenever the facility is at capacity in hopes of adopting many of the animals currently in their care. - El Paso Herald Post
