Last week we told you about some great westside patio bars to check out and enjoy in the spring and summer, now we highlight some great downtown/central spots!

LoveBuzz has easily become my favorite spot in Central El Paso to enjoy on the weekends for a fun time on the patio, and plenty of space for everyone. Lots of great outdoor seating, an amazing food truck serving one great torts you have to try, and they're extremely dog friendly! If you're looking for a place to get in a good cry on a Wednesday night too, check out their Taking Back Wednesdays. You and your love of My Chemical Romance will thank me.

One of the most relaxed, hipster before hipster was cool bars in El Paso, Pershing Inn has a great outdoor patio and one of the best in the city. A hidden gem in Central EP, Pershing Inn has an older crowd that is more relaxed so if you want to get away from the loud music and hustle of other bars this is the place. You never worry about rushing to grab a table before its gone, and it is a great date spot because you can actually hear your companion and not yell over the crowd to have a conversation. The food is delicious and the red beers are worth the trip.

When we talk about patio bars, International is another rooftop bar that brings the beautiful views of the city front and center. Located in the heart of downtown in San Jacinto Plaza, International is the place to be for the lighting of the lights at Winterfest. During the spring and summer, it is a hot spot for happy hour with many young professionals and downtown business men and women congregating at the watering hole. This beautiful downtown destination also offers fun theme nights like Chinese takeout and more, plus a kitchen serving up some delicious cuisine for you to nosh on with your drink.

Later, Later has one of the best patios in El Paso. The bar is inside of an old home, so think of Austin's Rainey Street right here in El Paso. The owners did a beautiful job of designing the bar and on gorgeous sunny days, two side of the bar open up so you can get all the natural light and air possible. With bar stools along one side, you're able to see passing trains and gorgeous sunsets, and another a more enclosed seating with shade. Another bar that brings a food truck on busier occasions and also has some great theme nights like wine and cheese and more.

Located right next to the Chihuahuas baseball stadium, Blackbird Cantina has amazing large patio that is perfect for gathering a large group of friends together before or after the game, and also for happy hour! The bar also usually has a food truck parked out front too so if you get hungry, some delicious grub is a stones throw away.

One of my favorite aspects of this bar is the bar seating right in the front of the establishment. You can see the seats right from the street, but during a beautiful sunny day, you can enjoy the outside and still have the best access to the bar, since you're seated like you're inside. The patio on the side of the bar also has great space to come and hang out with your friends and since Prickly Elder is right next door, you get two bars for the price of one!

This isn't TECHNICALLY a bar only, but with that gorgeous rooftop pool, patio and ambiance we had to include them on our list. Hotel Indigo is a great spot during those hot summer days to take a dip in the pool relax at one of their cabanas and great a refreshing drink. Whether you want to dress up or dress down, this is a great place to meet up with other no matter the time of day or occasion!

We've traveled to the westside of El Paso and now made a stop off in Central and Downtown El Paso. Next time we will take a trip to the eastside of the city to see some great patio bar locations for the other side of town!
