Actor and comedian DL Hughley will be performing at the El Paso Comic Strip at the end of the month. DL Hughley is known for his work as one of the "Original Kings of Comedy" with fellow comedians Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, and the late Bernie Mac. Hughley wrote, produced, and starred in his hit television show "The Hughleys" based on his own life. Various networks still show reruns of the show.

Growing up in the Los Angeles area, Hughley has been a staple of Hollywood for quite some time.  D.L. Hughley had a show on CNN called "D.L. Hughley Breaks the News," he was also a correspondent for the "The Jay Leno Show" on NBC. Hughley competed on season 16 of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" where he was partnered with professional dancer Cheryl Burke. The duo came in 9th place.

D.L. Hughley will be performing at the El Paso Comic Strip from Friday, January 22nd through Sunday, June 24th. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. nightly with 10 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday.
