Country Star Sam Hunt Arrested After Partying With EP Musician

If you're going to party with an El Pasoan, you better be ready to go the distance.

Country star Sam Hunt spent some time partying with a friend of mine, Joe Barron. Joe is, of course, quite an accomplished singer and songwriter himself. The two were hanging out in Nashville and Sam apparently wasn't up to the challenge.

The country singer was pulled over after police responded to a report that a vehicle was going the wrong way down a street in East Nashville. Nashville's WKRN-TV reports that an officer on the scene said, "Hunt smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and tried to give his credit card when pressed for a driver's license.
