Comedian Alycia Cooper at the El Paso Comic Strip This Week

Alycia Cooper is a comedian, actress, singer, and voice-over actress who credits Chris Rock, Margaret Cho, and George Carlin as influences. She's had roles on popular shows including "The Parkers," "Raising Hope," and "Grounded For Life" and performed comedy on BET's "Comic View." Cooper has also competed on "America's Got Talent" and made it all the way to the Vegas rounds. She also competed in season 9 of the NBC show "Last Comic Standing." She wrote directed the movie "Trade," and produced the upcoming film "Just Us" and did additional voices for the animated flick "Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse." Alycia Cooper has been named Essence Magazine's "One to Watch" which means you don't want to miss her when she performs in El Paso this week.

Alycia Cooper will be at the El Paso Comic Strip Thursday, January 14th through Sunday, January 17th. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the shows start at 7:30 p.m. Shows are 17 year old and up and tickets are $10 for general admission, $20 for a VIP booth.
