September 29th is National Coffee Day, a day to celebrate the drink that keeps almost all of us going every day. Whether you drink it black, sweetened, creamy, or something that resembles a milkshake, coffee is the drink you can get made especially for yourself. Every year, there are plenty of chain coffee joints that celebrate National Coffee Day with different deals and specials, but we want to highlight the locally-owned businesses that bring you your cup of joe every morning. Here are some great small businesses where you can go and celebrate National Coffee Day.

Casa Cafetzin Coffee Roasters- While driving on the westside of El Paso, you may miss this small storefront. But what you don't see from the outside is the overflowing flavors that are hidden indoors. The organic coffee at Casa Cafetzin comes from various regions across Mexico and is roasted just across the border in Ciudad Juarez. Casa Cafetzin is located at 4111 North Mesa Street.

Kinley's Coffee & Teahouse- Since 2004, Kinley's has offered a great patio to spend time with friends and grab a delicious cup of joe. Kinley's offers an extensive menu regulars rave about and they are open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. till 10 p.m.

District Coffee- Located in downtown El Paso, District Coffee serves its business clientele with unique specialty beverages. One of their most popular drinks is the honey-lavender latte and their food drinks are available for dine-in or carry out seven days a week. The District Coffee is located at 222 Texas Avenue and they are open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cafe Con Leche- Open since 2018, this locally-owned coffee is known for its delicious Nitro Cold Brew and its canned Nitro infused beverages. You may have first been introduced to Cafe Con Leche at a local market, event, or simply on the street. The businesses started out as a tricycle where people could stop and grab a quick coffee on the go. Cafe Con Leche is located at 2430 Wyoming Avenue and is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

2Ten Coffee Roasters- 2Ten Roasters use the best practices, equipment, and expertise to roast your coffee to perfection. With 3 locations across town to serve you- inside 150 Sunset in the Upper Valley, the Montana Café Patio Bar in the 5 Points District and the Montecillo Café off Mesa, 2Ten gives you a unique experience at each spot. 2Ten Coffee Roasters is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Hive Java Lounge- Known for great prices, friendly staff, and delicious drinks, this eastside coffee joint has a serious cult following. Known for their regular drinks, the Hive also create specialty season drinks you can enjoy. The Hive is located at 1505 George Dieter and is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
