Because, Florida. The solar eclipse just wouldn't have been complete without a crazy crime story from Florida. This one comes from Orange County, where a guy stole a car in Kissimmee, Florida. If you've ever driven from Miami/Ft. Lauderdale up to Orlando, you've been through Kissimmee.  Not a whole lot going on in Kissimmee, except apparently car thefts.

Jocsan Rosado, the 22 year old apparently didn't realize the police were trailing him. After he stole a car, he decided to stop off at Harbor Freight Tools on Osceola Parkway, purchase a welder's mask so he could view the eclipse.

Well, he got the welder's mask and even had a chance to take a look at the solar eclipse that happened yesterday. But, while he was enjoying the eclipse with his "new car" and "new welder's mask", police moved in and arrested Rosado.

Just in case you were wondering and you wanted to prep for the solar eclipse that'll happen in 7 years, yes, you can use a welder's mask to look at an eclipse. The mask just needs to be shade 12 or darker.
