Bike Run Saturday in Beautiful Silver City

The Walk For Heroes benefit bike run takes place Saturday in and around Silver City.

Registration is from 8 a.m. 'til 11 a.m. at Ed Stevens chili farm, on 5th Ave. in Hurley New Mexico, next to the Hurley Bar. The exact run itinerary will be provided at registration, lunch will be served at the Fort Bayard Bataan Memorial Park.

Registration is $15 per person, $20 per couple. This covers lunch, chances to win prizes and all the fun and music at the end of run dance being held at The Brown Derby, 411 N. Bayard Street. Riders are admitted to the Brown Derby with their registration, cost for non-riders is $5.

If you can, roll up Friday for bike night at the Brown Derby. Starting at 5:00pm, enjoy food, drink specials, prizes and a pool tournament. For more info on bike night, call (575) 915-4614. For run info, call (575) 313-3652.
