El Paso is the undisputed Mexican food capitol of the world and the argument over who makes the best is endless. Maybe these perfect reviews will help you pick a new spot.

I couldn't even take a wild guess at how many Mexican food joints there are in El Paso. You'll find everything from corner taco stands and food trucks to small diners and high end restaurants in the 915.

Funny thing is, even the bad ones have something or other about them that's pretty good. Or, at least, not bad.

One way to tell if a place has good food is, of course, traffic.  If it's always jam packed then, you're probably going to like it. Another way to tell, probably the best way, is by how long it has been there.

Finally, thanks to social media, you can read a zillion online reviews and make your decision that way. To that end, a lot of people follow and comment on Yelp. The El Paso Times turned to Yelp and looked up which Mexican restaurants had a ton of reviews and a perfect 5-star rating.
