The annual event is Saturday at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino.

The 17th annual Walk/Run for families in crisis, benefiting the Lee & Beulah Moor Childrens Home, is Saturday, June 1st. Registration begins at 6:45am and the race starts at 8am. Entry fee is $25 for the general public, $20 for military personnel and students.

There are prizes up for grabs too according to raceadventuresunlimited.com:

The first 300 registrants will receive a short-sleeve t-shirt. Individual trophies for top three overall male and female finishers. Medals to top three male and female finishers in each age group. Trophy to largest team entry.

The homes website says that it is celebrating 60 years here in El Paso. They are a multi-service agency licensed by the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services to help children and their families in need.
