A new artisanal Mexican chocolate shop has opened near downtown El Paso in Fudge N More's old location. The Fudge N More chocolate store has been a staple of the downtown area for years, the small shop with the big red strawberry on the side.  It was the place you can drop in at almost anytime to pick up a sweet treat or a gift for the one you love.

Back in October, owner Ruby announced she would be closing her store due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many were heartbroken to hear the news and the empty shop was a reminder of how much the pandemic has affected small businesses in the area. We were also left wondering what new business would be opening up in the location. Now we know the answer it looks like we have more sweets coming our way from that store.

A new artisanal Mexican chocolate boutique, Ixcacao, has just opened their doors this month and have plenty of sweet treats for you to try. Their chocolate is imported from Mexico and they offer plenty of delicious and unique flavors like Cafe De Oya, Gansito, mole, mango Chamoy, Tamarindo, guava, passionfruit, and more.

Ixcacao also offers various large chocolate options, like their breakable chocolate options that come with surprise chocolates inside. You can check out their stunning Mother's Day rose options below.

Ixcacao Artisanal Mexican Chocolate Boutique is located at 914 North Mesa Street and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can "like" them on Facebook and follow them on Instagram.
