Animanga Fans Don’t Miss The Anime Fest In El Paso This Weekend
Fans of all things anime, don't miss the Sunland Park Anime Fest this weekend in west El Paso.
Animanga lovers will celebrate all things anime and pop culture during the anime fest, a mini-convention for fans of anime, manga, games, and other pop culture hosted by The Makers Collaborative and All Things Japan at Sunland Park Mall.
The Sunland Park Anime Fest will feature costume contests, trivia, free movies, vendors, and much more beginning at 11 a.m. this weekend.
El Paso Cosplayers, get ready to show off your artistic take on your favorite anime characters and enter the costume contest for a shot at incredible prizes such as cash, gift cards, and gifts. Judging for the costume contest will be local cosplayers such as @royalkind, and @iamham7, beginning promptly at 5 p.m. at the mall's center court downstairs.
To register for the Cosplay Costume Contest, visit Chemistea in the food court area on the day of the event.
The anime fest will take place in and around the food court and throughout Sunland Park Mall, where attendees will find all sorts of fun throughout the day, including fan merch; from Kawaii shirts to gamer-inspired accessories, Pokemon Go Competitions, raffles, genuine collectibles, live video games, and much more.
The event will also include free entertainment with free movie screenings on the Lawn Movie Screen (located at the lower entrance of Sunland Park Mall by The Greenery, Keep it Smoothie, and Conns Home Furnishings.

- 2:30 p.m. - Howls Moving Castle
- 5 p.m. - Kikis Delivery Service
