Trip advisor recently announced the most popular restaurant chain in America.

Using factors like quality, quantity and recency of reviews, TripAdvisor chose from 3 categories.  "Large", over 100 locations, "medium", 51-100 locations and "small", 10-50 locations.  The "large" winner was Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. (Which El Paso finally has now. It's in the Fountains at Farah.)

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is very good, I'll vouch for that. If you really want the primo steak in El Paso, as usual, going local gets the job done best. We have two amazing ones here:

One is a standalone, located in Fabens. Cattleman's at Indian Cliffs Ranch.

My personal favorite, is The Original Great American on Alabama. They also have a satellite restaurant, with a more casual menu and atmosphere, located across from Cohen Stadium in the Northeast. (Note: Other Great Americans' in El Paso are not the same. Different menus, owners, etc...)

What's your favorite??
