How Amazing Are El Paso Autumn Sunsets? Photo Captures Stunning Beauty
Say what you want about El Paso being too this or not enough that, one thing you cannot disparage are the amazing sunsets.
You have to admit, we are treated to some of the most spectacular sundowns anywhere. Watching the evening sky change color as the sun begins to set into the desert horizon is a year round thing of beauty around here.
But some days the vista is more stunning than others. Monday (11/8) was one of those days.
Cotton candy pink, subdued blue, and vibrant yellow and orange hues washed over the El Paso landscape in a spectacular end of the day display from Mother Nature.
As another autumn afternoon made its final curtain call and stepped aside for the impending darkness, El Pasoans all across the city were capturing its beauty in pictures and on video.
Few took a more impressive photo than freelance photographer Miguel Vigil of Edge of Forever Photography.
Vigil has taken some majestic landscape pictures over the last few months, including images of the dramatic transformation the Franklin Mountains went through over the summer, a stunning rainbow capture, the star on the mountain when it was lit up red, and one of the most breathtaking photos of a graveyard one will ever see.
Monday’s remarkable sunset was also chronicled by the Instagram account FitFam El Paso which showcased some of the more glorious videos El Pasoans captured on their smart phones.
Whether it’s the sun majestically rising over the Franklins or slowly setting behind the desert, El Paso has some of the most amazing sunsets and sunrises on the daily.
