Although initially rescheduled for April this year, the A&A All The Way Foundation took to social media to announce a date change for the event, saying,

The Charity Softball Game will now take place on Friday, June 24! All tickets purchased will still be honored at the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, call 915-533-BASE to request a full refund. Because of the date change, more of Aaron's teammates can participate! Be on the lookout for Team Aaron and Team Alvin soon!

As you can see, the date change was necessary to accommodate more of Aaron's NFL pals to participate in the charity ball game. We'll keep you posted when we have names for these NFL teammates and list out who will be on Team Aaron and Team Alvin.

The highly anticipated softball game will showcase a roster of Aaron and Alvin's current and former NFL teammates, including Green Bay Packers, UTEP players, and local celebrities. The family-friendly event will feature a home run derby, silent auction, exclusive merchandise, raffle, and guaranteed memorable moments.

Gameday will now take place on Friday, June 24, at Southwest University Park with gates opening at 5:30 p.m., the home run derby kicks off at 6:30 p.m., and the first pitch for the softball game will be at 7:30 p.m.

It's great to see that the UTEP grads continue to use their celebrity to rep the Sun City and make a significant impact by giving back to our community, especially our youth.

Proceeds raised from the event will benefit the A&A All The Way Foundation, which helps support children from El Paso to Wisconsin through shoe drives, bike giveaways, holiday turkey drives, free football camps, and extraordinary experiences for military families.
