Are These Noises Signaling the End of the World, or the Beginning of a Promo? [VIDEO]

This could be some sort of viral ad campaign. Either that, or it's proof the world WILL end this year. It's a bunch of "clips" from all over the world -- videos of people who hear the same strange noises. It almost sounds like Godzilla roaring in the distance, but the new "Godzilla" movie won't be out until 2014, so it seems pretty unlikely that they'd be promoting it this early. Some people think it's aliens. Others think it's a load of crap.
