27 Hour I-10 Closure Happening This Sunday In West El Paso

The road closures on the west side of El Paso can be a headache but we're finally seeing the improvements. See what roads will be affected this weekend. All the roadwork on interstate 10 have created quite a few headaches for motorists in west El Paso but we can finally see some of the progress on the roads. The additional roadways have made traveling in the area better and less of a headache, especially when there is an accident. It still doesn't make it any better though when there is a big closure happening on a Sunday. Luckily though, the end is getting closer and then we will finally have all these great roadway improvements to enjoy. Here is how your commute will be affected this Sunday.

I-10 East will be COMPLETELY CLOSED between North Mesa Street and Sunland Park Drive. Motorists traveling on I-10 East will be detoured onto the eastbound CD lanes, bypassing all signalized intersections. The North Mesa entrance ramp to I-10 East will also be CLOSED. Motorists can also take McNutt, Paisano Drive, Doniphan and Mesa street as alternate routes.
