If you're looking for something to do this weekend with your family and friends, the 13th Annual Poppies Fest is happening this weekend! Nature lovers in the Sun City get ready for a fun-filled day outside in the beautiful Franklin Mountains for the 13th Annual Poppies Fest! The event will be held this Saturday, March 23rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the El Paso Museums of Archaeology.

Visitors can enjoy live music and various activities, plus archery demonstrations! City of El Paso Animal Services will also be there with their adoptable furbabies so they can find their fur-ever homes, plus their adoptions are free! Even more exciting, the Downtown Arts and Farmers Market will be moving for this weekend only to Poppies Fest! Come out and enjoy the over 50 vendors along with food trucks for when you get hungry or thirsty.

There will be free parking at the EPCC Transmountain Campus and shuttle buses will be provided to take you to and from Poppies Fest. Busses will be running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there will be no parking at the Museum of Archaeology or the Border Patrol Museum.
