After much speculation, Slash has revealed that Guns N’ Roses will not be performing at the April 14 ceremony in which the band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Slash’s sophomore solo album, “Apocalyptic Love,” drops May 22 on the guitarist’s own label, Dik Hayd International. The famed six-stringer has been getting fans pumped for the release with a series of killer webisodes, the last of which has just been posted on his official YouTube channel.

Slash Fearturing Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have posted a minute-long teaser for the upcoming music video for ‘You’re a Lie,’ the lead single from their soon-to-be-released album ‘Apocalyptic Love.’

It’s 13 songs strong, but even with the doomsday romance title, the famed shredder is feeling positive and upbeat about the album (which is done except for a few stray mixes) and the prospect of touring. He just wants to get in front of fans and perform.

Slash is set to release the first single off his upcoming album to radio on Monday, Feb. 27, but he’s offering a 30-second sneak listen to the tune right now (hear it below). The song, ‘You’re a Lie,’ is the first taste of the guitarist’s second ‘solo’ album ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ due May 22.

The fourth annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards are set to invade Los Angeles on April 11, with Marilyn Manson on deck to perform his first show in almost three years at the event. Other performers include Slash, Evanescence, Sixx: A.M. and Black Veil Brides. Further additions to the line up will be announced in the coming weeks.
