Slash confirmed with The Charlotte Observer that the band is looking at Corey Taylor of Slipknot/Stone Sour to front Velvet Revolver. No decisions have been made since Slash is touring right now for his solo album, though.
Matt Sorum of Velvet Revolver told The Pulse of Radio that the band has found someone they like to replace Scott Weiland, but it's still too early to make any definite statements.
