Maybe Merle Dixon wasn't that bad after all. Who cares if he was a murdering druggie racist redneck? You telling me those guys on "Duck Dynasty" have never dropped the "N" bomb like Merle did to T-Dog in season one? Yeah, right. On Friday, a mixed martial arts fighter named Zac Chavez took on a guy named Dan Mainus.  And it resulted in some of the funniest sports commentary we've heard in a while.

Last week in Liberty Eylau, Texas, a woman spotted a SNAKE outside her house . . . and decided to get rid of it by dumping GAS on it and setting it on FIRE.  But the flaming snake slithered away . . . right into a brush pile next to the woman's house.

On Thursday, in Lake County, Florida, sheriff's deputy Jessica McGregor responded to a call about a seven-foot alligator trying to break through a fence at a middle school.  And the nearest trapper was two hours away. But Jessica used to wrestle gators with her brother, so she made a makeshift lasso, snagged the gator, and wrestled him until he gave up. Then she tied him up and secured him until h

CBS' Greg Gumbel had an unfortunate slip of the tongue on the first big day of the NCAA Tournament, saying St. Louis beat "New Mexican State". At least he wasn't calling them "New Mexico" like analyst Dan Bonner kept doing. Check the link to see the video.

Young Guns is red-hot as they head to the KLAQ Balloonfest this Memorial Day weekend. The British rockers have the top song in rock with "Bones" as they made a successful visit to Austin for SXSW. The Morning Show had a chance to visit with them at our suite in the Four Seasons.

Lisa Sanchez saw them first, and we're happy she did. At a record party in Austin, Lisa spotted The Virginmarys performing and invited them to drop by. The band performed unique acoustic versions of their hits "Dead Man's Shoes" and "Just A Ride". You also ought to hear them plugged in because they are electrifying. In one of the most hilarious interviews we've done at SXSW, we find out a lot more about The Unlikely Candidates than we bargained for. All in their early 20's, every one of them has been in jail for everything from jacking cars to possession to shoplifting a pizza from Walmart. And they sing, too!

Kelly Ogden and Luis Cabezas return to our suite at the Four Seasons to catch us up on their lives, play a few rounds of "Signed or Unsigned" (of which they've been both) and play some rockin' acoustic versions of their hits, including "I'm Awesome".

Gabe and Dameon Aranda have become known for their vocal pyrotechnics, and they didn't disappoint in their visit to the Morning Show's suite during SXSW. They'll be doing much the same when they visit El Paso for an acoustic set at Balloonfest this year!

British alt band "A Silent Film" stopped by our suite at the Four Seasons during SXSW to perform, and they talked about pretty much everything...except SXSW! Much to the delight of the group.

After his trip to North Korea, Dennis Rodman has gone to Rome with the hopes of meeting the new Pope.  Our friends from those crazy Taiwanese videos have made a hilarious video NBA Jam style covering this event.
