Hinder is an American rock band from Oklahoma that was formed in 2001 by drummer Cody Hanson, guitarist Joe Garvey, and singer Austin Winkler. The band was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

The 27th annual KLAQ BBQ is coming to Western Playland Sunday!

Obviously, if  all of the on-air staff writes about different aspects of the KLAQ B-B-Q, you, the reader, will have no choice but to attend. So, what shall I write about ... As much as I know you're dying to know what I think about "side items to a BBQ," I've decided to go with my favorite Hinder songs/videos...

The El Paso Downtown Street Festival is just a couple of weeks away!!

There are so many different things going on at Streetfest -- the concerts, the local bands, the fireworks, the cars, the dancing, the food -- it's tough to keep track of it all. But we tried last year. Remember Streetfest 2011? Here's a slow-mo slice of "The Life" from 2011 headliner Hinder to help, and to get you ready for even more in 2012!

This year was one HECK of a Street Fest . Great Crowds , Great Food , Great People and YEAH A GREAT SHOW!!! BTO and QUEENSRYCHE As always , I ask some of my friends to send Pics so that we can post them on our site .. This year is no different, BUT i forgot to give credit to someone ... I tried to post pictures and somehow ... I screwed it UP !!!

One more time, and now mobile-device ready. It's the Streetfest Slowdown, highlighting the different Downtown Street Festival activities, stages, concerts, car shows, food, dancing and, most of all, the PEOPLE who made it such a great party. And, oh yeah, that fireworks show, too!

Friday, July 1st, El Paso, Las Cruces, Cd. Juarez and more joined in for our big block party to celebrate Independence Day. Thank YOU for coming to the party, as we salute those who made the El Paso Downtown Street Festival THE place to be and slow things down to feature Hinder's "The Life"...
