Motley Crue was playing in Canada on Saturday, and some guy almost ended the show when he rushed the stage and knocked Mick Mars to the ground.  Mick had to be helped off the stage, and the whole band went with him.

The band doesn't sound all that great, but their light show is AWESOME!!!!

A month or so ago, I saw an event pop up on my Facebook feed for the show with Jeff Loomis and Soilwork in El Paso. They had Bonded by Blood on the bill as well, so with that lineup, I was instantly ready to go. Unfortunately, I work Thursday nights, so I was sad. Many of you have probably seen this band perform but I have never seen them and can't wait!

I am curious about which day will be the most packed for Balloonfest 2013 with the great lineups we got this year.

I'm hoping you all are just as stoked as I am to hear Shinedown's coming to El Paso as Lauren stated a couple days ago.

I'm a little bummed that Stone Sour and Papa Roach didn't make it to El Paso on this tour, but I found this online to help ease the bum-ness. It's the complete show from Club Nokia in LA, Feburary 13th. It's a pro-shot concert, so no crappy shaky-cam from some dude who's only four feet tall, trying in vain to see the band over the shoulders of everyone else in front of him.

Volbeat has already hit the road in advance of their new album, "Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies". This is their first tour with new lead guitarist Rob Caggiano, formerly of Anthrax. They'll be here on March 10th, at Speaking Rock's Socorro Entertainment Center, playing older stuff like "Sad Man's Tongue", and even new songs from the new album coming out April 9th!
