Police Arrest Suspect In Home Invasion Of Elderly Couple

Police say they've made an arrest in connection to the home invasion burglary of an elderly couple in central El Paso.  U.S. Marshals arrested 24 year old Gerald Dunn Monday and booked him into Bexar County Detention facility.  He's now awaiting extradition to El Paso.  He's accused of following an elderly couple home from their morning walk last week and then robbing them.

Santa Teresa Port Of Entry Expanding Hours

The Santa Teresa Port of Entry is expanding its hours due to a new partnership.  U.S. Customs and Border Protection says it's entering into a public-private partnership with Dell Incorporated, which will in turn foot the bill for additional hours of operation for southbound traffic at the port.  The partnership is made possible by CBP's new Reimbursable Services Program.

Abbott: Texas Will Look Into Planned Parenthood Video

Texas is planning two investigations into allegations Planned Parenthood sold the organs of aborted babies.  Governor Greg Abbott says he's unnerved and appalled by the video which shows the group's senior director of medical research discussing how doctors protect organs as they take fetuses out.  Abbott has asked the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and the Attorney General's office to look into the claims.  The video was posted online by California-based Center for Medical Progress.  Planned Parenthood says the tissue is donated for scientific research and isn't done for their own financial benefit.

Body Recovered That Of Former Texans Player

The search for former NFL player JaJuan Dawson is over.  The body of the 37 year old was recovered Monday night from Lavon Lake located about 40 miles northeast of Dallas.  That's where he vanished Sunday night after falling off an inflatable tube being towed by a boat.  His death is considered an accident, but there's no word yet from Collin County authorities on an exact cause of death.
