Pizza Hut Giving Away Gold Pizzas

Pizza Hut is celebrating the 'Golden Anniversary' of the Super Bowl by giving away gold pizzas. The pizza chain announced that Golden Garlic Knots Pizzas topped with about $100 worth of edible gold will be delivered to 50 fans who order the pies on Super Bowl Sunday.

The big game is the busiest day for pizza sales at Pizza Hut's across the country. According to America's largest pizza chain about 2 million pizza's are sold. That comes out to around 16 million slices.

Pizza Hut's vice president said they felt it was an appropriate way to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of the big game in the Golden State. The Super Bowl will be played this Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
