The Amity Affliction - Let The Ocean Take Me

"Let The Ocean Take Me" is the new album from Australian metalcore band The Amity Affliction. The band had the album streaming online through Soundcloud and the album is now available through Roadrunner Records. The album was named one of 2014's Most Anticipated Albums by Alternative Press Magazine. The band always has electric performances and was recently here for BlessTheFall's "The Hollow Bodies Tour" at Tricky Falls. The band will be touring North America again and dates should be available soon. Keep checking The Amity Affliction Facebook page for more information.

Arch Enemy - War Eternal

This is the first album since vocalist Angela Gossow decided to take a back seat in the band to focus more on the business side and guitarist Christopher Amott left the band. Gossow is continuing her role as manager of the band, while Alissa White-Gluz (ex-vocalist of Agonist) took over the vocal reigns for the band and Nick Cordle is on guitar. The new album is able to continue where 2011's "Khaos Legions" left off, bringing the same brutal sound as before.

Body Count - Manslaughter

Ice-T has been known for quite sometime now as the lovable but tough Detective on Law and Order: SVU, becoming my mother's favorite character on the show. But let's not forget his past as one of the most respected and dominant rappers in the 80's and 90's. When discussing the new album, Ice-T said he wanted to make a new album because "these youngsters are a bunch of pussies." He points out how social media has allowed people to be loud mouthed, focusing on Facebook and Instagram likes rather than their real life. On the album, Body Count remakes a Suicidal Tendencies track, and revises Ice-t's own 99 Problems, the inspiration for Jay-Z's version. I highly recommend reading Vulture's interview with Ice, it's hilarious to read what he has to say about Dungeons and Dragons and Game of Thrones. The band will be touring with the Rockstar Metal Mayhem festival this summer.

Hellyeah - Blood for Blood

The first album since members Greg Tibett and Bob Zilla left the band, Hellyeah have said this album follows the metal roots that they got back to with "Band of Brothers." The band will be touring in the fall with heavy metal heavyweights Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat and Nothing More. You can check out the tour dates on Loudwire.
